This thing is small, compact and Amazing, Keep in mind you can get the more expensive one with the higher models but its the same thing just without the built in memory. But this is a better bet, because you can get 16 and 32 gig memory cards cheeper anyway and there removable. This camera has no memory internally like the more expensive ones but your going to purchase memory cards anyway. So purchase this and save!

Samsung has just introduced their new series of high-definition camcorder line called the “H-Series”. The H-Series line include a Schneider Kreunznach with a 10x optical zoom. The H-Series which consists of the following: HMX-H106, HMX-H105, and HMX-H104 features a 2.7 inch LCD and versatile swivel-grip design for easy handling and operation with an all included HDMI connection, time lapse video recording, a flash for still photos.

So far, the HMX-H106 has the largest internal flash memory to date with a 64 GB solid state drive while the H105 has 32 G and H104 with 16G capacity. All models still allows expansion through a card slot.

The camcorder is the consumer’s device that combines a video camera and a video recorder into a single unit, so that people can record their favorite moments. While at one time these moments were recorded on tape, they can now be recorded onto to a DVD. The three major components of the camcorder are the lens, imager and recorder. The lens includes the aperture, the zoom element of the lens and the shutter. In the consumer unit the camera is controlled by the electronics of the camcorder, the light is gathered by the lens and focused onto the imager. The image is projected onto the imager through the camera lens. The light is then converted into an electronic video signal, which then writes the video to the recording medium, e.g. tape, hard drive, DVD, etc.
